AscendNAAMBA and US Bank are excited to present a Mentorship Strategies Workshop to support the development of Asians and other professionals of color during Asian Heritage Month!
Mentorship helps all participants increase skills, build confidence, expand networks, and develop personally and professionally. But building a strong mentoring relationship is not easy! This session will provide best practices and tools to develop and support successful one-on-one and group mentoring. And, Menttium will present their "Strong Start to Your Mentoring Experience" program. You won't want to miss this powerful session!
This FREE interactive workshop will cover
• keys to successful mentoring relationships
• what mentoring is and isn't
• characteristics of effective mentors and mentees
• different mentoring relationship structures
Participants will develop mentoring goals and an action plan. AscendNAAMA members will also be able to join a mentoring circle. An optional second workshop in the fall will provide an opportunity to review progress and build on it to enhance leadership skills. (Second workshop can be attended separately without attending first).
