Description:
AscendNAAMBA is excited to host several Asian elected officials for a panel discussion and Q&A session. Come out to meet local legislators, hear how you are represented, and learn how your voice can be heard!
We are honored to have the following panelists:

Jennifer Carnahan is currently serving as Chair of the Minnesota Republican Party. She is also the owner of several boutiques, a former marketing executive for multiple Fortune 500 companies, and a past AscendNAAMBA board member.

Blong Yang is the first Hmong-American to be elected to the Minneapolis City Council, and is a member of the DFL party. He is a lawyer who served as an investigator with the Minneapolis Department of Civil Rights (MDCR) and previously had his own practice focusing on family law and other civil matters.

Michael Arulfo is a delegate at large for the Democratic National Committee, and is running for Bloomington City Council, where he hopes to give a voice to the diverse groups throughout the city. He has spent 18 years working in corporate America.
